The Thursday Troupe will be performing a simplified version of Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream on November 4, 5, and 6, 2026
We last produced Midsummer Night’s Dream in April 2017.
Our new school year together begins on Wednesday, September 9, and Thursday, September 10!
We will bring stories to life, have ample opportunities to express our creativity, spend time with theater friends, and stretch ourselves as we learn new theater skills.
This coming school year, the Wednesday Troupe will stage the Rudyard Kipling Just SoStory, "The Elephant's Child" (or “How the Elephant Got Its Trunk"), on May 12, 13, and 14, 2027. Rudyard Kipling's language is so rhythmical; this story is a delight.

The Traveling Troupe had a busy 2025-26 School year that included a residency at the Dummerston School and a trip to St. Albans, presenting at the Creative Sector Convening conference sponsored by Vermont Arts Council. They are looking forward to what this new school year will bring. Some gigs are booked, and we welcome more.
The Traveling Troupe led interactive theater games from our guidebook, Into the Spotlight, at Zack’s Place in Woodstock, Vermont. They will do the same when they return to the Bennington Families First site this Fall.

The Traveling Troupe offers workshops and performances for school groups, advocacy programs and initiatives, library programming, arts organizations, civic groups, and special community events. Their workshops include role plays, conversations about being an advocate for one's self and others, belonging, and ways to claim one’s life with pride and confidence.

Celebrating the life of Danny Sullivan
A beloved troupe member from 2012-2025
Dear Theatre Adventure Family,
Danny peacefully passed away this past May. Danny enriched our lives in so many ways. Many of us gathered in June to celebrate his life well-lived with laughter and love. West Village Meeting House was filled, even the balcony. Danny touched the lives of many!

We have two school-year troupes along with three annual productions. We also have a Traveling Troupe, a Mentoring Program, and a Summer Expressive Arts Program. Students may participate online or in-person.
