“Speaking Up” - A triptych by Susan & Phil, Jess and April

- I speak up to ...

• ask questions
• to be there for others
• and to share my feelings.

- When I speak up I feel...

  • relieved

  • I feel love

  • I feel glad that people hear and understand me.

- I speak up for others ...

  • by writing things.

  • I help others learn how to say what they want to say.

  • I speak up when someone doesn’t know what to say

  • I help others when I reach out to them to be part of what I’m doing, to be part of

  • the group - I show that I value them.

  • Sometimes it’s hard to speak up but sometimes it’s not. You can always ask for

  • help when you need it.

  • We can all speak up.

  • We can raise our voices. — Katharine

Jess’ Dream

I dreamed we were all at the Meeting House.

We were all laughing and dancing.

We were getting ready for a show, then a huge audience came pouring into the room.

It was a nice dream to be together again.
