The Theatre Adventure Wednesday Troupe brings to life the West African folktales about Anansi the spider, a clever trickster who comes across a magical talking drum that can speak and produce beautiful music. The drum doesn't just play rhythms—it speaks words and tells truths, often revealing things that people might prefer to keep hidden.

Anansi, realizing the power and uniqueness of the drum, decides to throw a great feast and invites the entire village, including the King, to witness the marvel of the talking drum. However, Anansi has a trick up his sleeve:

~Theatre Adventure actors create theater that turns traditional roles upside down, present a fresh take on familiar stories, and invite audiences to broaden their thinking about individuals with disabilities.
