The Theatre Adventure Thursday Troupe will be presenting an adaptation of the classic folktale, Stone Soup, on Nov 5th and 6th at 10:30 am, and Nov 7th at 7 pm at the West Village Meeting House, 29 South Street, West Brattleboro. Stone Soup is about a village that confronts barriers and difficulties and discovers that by uniting, they are able to overcome those difficulties.

Four actors in costume pose in character around a large cooking pot on stage. One actor holds a stone above the pot, while the other three actors are engaged.

Thursday Troupe actors will be featured playing characters who are in need, characters who are mean-spirited, and characters who dare to speak out against injustices. The result? Compassion for others who are outsiders is discovered.

Our seasoned actors have been working hard, dedicated to bringing the story to the stage. They are looking forward to their first show without a narrator!
