The Thursday Troupe arrived with vigor and exuberance to reunite for our new year together. We welcomed two new students from Landmark College. Fun was had by all while doing theater activities in pairs.

This Fall, the Thursday Troupe will be producing an adaptation of the classic folktale Stone Soup. This tale is about a community that confronts barriers and difficulties and discovers that by uniting, they are able to overcome them.

Thursday Troupe actors will be featured playing characters who address such barriers. Characters, monologues, on-stage working together, leadership opportunities, and more will be the centerpiece of the show.

We have been working on our Guidebook, Into the Spotlight—a project that has been in the works since 2007, when we were a relatively new program. The purpose of the Guidebook is to market Theatre Adventure and inspire other communities to learn about the joy and possibilities of inclusive theater!

Stay tuned for updates…
